Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Gets Worldwide Launch Date for iOS and Android

After over a year in limited release and 50 million pre-registrations, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is finally launching globally on March 21st for iOS and Android devices.

Warzone Mobile brings the fast-paced action of Call of Duty: Warzone, featuring two iconic maps from the franchise — Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Players can battle against up to 120 live opponents in the classic battle royale mode or face off in multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch on fan-favourite maps such as Shipment and Shoot House.

One of the most exciting aspects of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is that it features a progression that is shared with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone on console and PC. This allows players to level up their weapons, player rank, and battle pass across all three titles, uniting Call of Duty players across platforms for the first time.

The game was originally slated to launch in 2023 but was pushed back to early 2024 in October. “The teams are working tirelessly to build the best possible mobile experience for players and we want to ensure that we can deliver that before launching Warzone Mobile more broadly,” said an Activision spokesperson.

The game offers optimized controls and graphics for mobile devices while retaining the authentic Call of Duty gunplay that fans know and love. Movement, aiming, weapons handling, and more have been specially tuned to make it feel great on mobile.

Players who pre-registered for the game will unlock rewards like the Ghost Condemned Operator skin, weapon blueprints, a vinyl, and an emblem. Over 50 million players pre-registered prior to launch, showing the massive anticipation for Warzone Mobile.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is now available in Australia and Germany, and it has been selected in other regions ahead of its 2024 global launch on iOS and Android devices. Players can pre-register on Google Play or pre-order through the App Store to unlock rewards.
