Activision lifted the curtain on what’s next for the Call of Duty franchise, and gave the first look at Warzone 2.0 and its mobile counterpart.

The next version of Warzone is coming out on November 16th, and it’s bigger and better than ever. With a whole new map, game features, and even AI enemies, this is sure to be the most exciting release in Call of Duty history. Built on the same engine as Modern Warfare II, the new Warzone promises even more intense gameplay for fans of the franchise.

The mobile version of Warzone is set to launch in 2023. Activision says that the battle royale will be “built for mobile devices” and will include “mobile-specific events, playlists, and content.” There will be some connection between the two versions of Warzone, as “players can share many social features and cross-progression enabling a shared battle pass and more for a connected Call of Duty experience.”

In addition, the game will include cross-progression, so you can pick up right where you left off. Plus, there’s a new mode called DMZ which sounds like it’s going to be exciting for fans of the series!

Modern Warfare II will officially begin the new era of Call of Duty on October 28th. The game was revealed back in June, and today, Activision gave us a closer look at the multiplayer mode. The 3v3 mode is called “raids” which will focus on teamwork and communication like never before.
