UGREEN is making a major move into the smart home with HomeAgent, a local-first AI hub designed to keep control, storage and intelligence inside the home.
At an event held at Gillette Stadium, just outside Boston, UGREEN took to the stage to announce a range of new products. The most significant move was its introduction of new AIoT devices designed to move the AI assistant from the cloud and into the home.
UGREEN unveiled HomeAgent, a local-first artificial intelligence hub, alongside a new MagFlow charging lineup. The company also announced that New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez will serve as its global brand ambassador. The concept behind the new ecosystem is rather impressive.

Billed as UGREEN’s debut in the artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) space, HomeAgent combines local storage, computing and device control in a single hub, processing footage and files on the device rather than in the cloud, with no monthly storage fees. It feels like UGREEN is taking its experience with NAS systems and building on it in creative ways. If the company delivers on everything it promises, the concept is rather exciting.
The ecosystem includes the HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro, along with the MasterAgent MA100, described as the first agentic AI local hub powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor T5000 and capable of delivering up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local computing performance. The lineup also includes SynCare indoor, PoE and battery cameras, a Uliya smart speaker and Gallery smart frames.
Voice control runs through Uliya, while AI Highlights can capture and edit family moments for display on Gallery frames. Proactive alerts can recognize people, vehicles, pets and packages, while Matter support brings compatible third-party devices under unified local control.
“The next chapter of the smart home is not simply about connecting more devices. It is about creating a system that can understand, assist, and act while keeping users in control,” said UGREEN’s sales director for North America, Marshall Mao. “UGREEN HomeAgent brings that intelligence into the home through a local-first architecture designed around privacy, responsiveness, and a more unified experience.”

The Gonzalez partnership builds on UGREEN becoming the Patriots’ official tech accessory partner in April. The company plans to host product booths at four home games this season, along with a Boston-wide watch party on Dec. 10. “Just like UGREEN, I believe great technology should help people stay prepared, reach their potential, and bring their A-game in the moments that matter most,” Gonzalez said.
While the concept sounds incredibly exciting, being able to control your home without relying on a cloud provider such as Gemini or Alexa is especially appealing. However, the system comes with a high upfront cost, and depending on your needs, that price can climb quickly.
The base HomeAgent HA100 has an MSRP of $1,799, with an early-bird price of $899. If you want more power, the HA100 Pro has an MSRP of $5,999, with an early-bird price of $2,999. At the top end, the MasterAgent MA100 has an MSRP of $19,999, with early-bird pricing of $9,999.

Thankfully, much of that cost is concentrated in the initial hardware. The system’s cameras and other accessories are considerably more affordable, and HomeAgent supports Matter-compatible devices out of the box. Based on what we saw on site, the device delivers impressive results; even in the local tests we ran with lighting, blinds, and security, the system is already incredibly impressive. The team were not diving into too much detail about which models were being implemented, or how the extra power would improve overall usability, but hopefully we will get a better sense of that as we get closer to the release later this October.
Pre-orders for the HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro and MasterAgent MA100 open Sept. 3 through the UGREEN AIoT store. Deposits starting at $50 secure a 50% early-bird discount ahead of a Kickstarter campaign launching Oct. 27.
