MagFlow UGREEN Unveils Liquid-Cooled MagFlow Power Bank And New Qi2 25W Chargers

UGREEN is aiming to make wireless charging faster and cooler with the MagFlow Series, a new Qi2 25 W lineup led by a liquid-cooled magnetic power bank.

At its Smart Living Launch Event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., on Sept. 1, the company announced not only its new range of AIoT devices but also the MagFlow Series, a three-device lineup built around Qi2 25 W magnetic fast charging and active cooling. The lineup is headlined by what UGREEN calls the world’s first liquid-cooled magnetic power bank.

The big showstopper of the presentation was, without a doubt, the new MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W. It uses UGREEN’s CryoPulse technology, with a micropump circulating coolant past key components while a see-through Cyber Window shows the system working in real time.

While it sounds like a gimmick at first, I’ve come away impressed after using the device for the past few weeks. Your phone will still get warm while charging, as there is no avoiding that, but the power bank itself stays cool, even when attached to your phone for an hour or more. That is a notable advantage, as many power banks can become uncomfortably warm during extended charging sessions.

UGREEN says the cooling system keeps peak temperatures up to 18 F below what it describes as a 118 F industry benchmark. According to the company, that allows the power bank to wirelessly charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50 per cent in 40 minutes, roughly 50 per cent faster than a legacy 7.5 W Qi charger.

A built-in 45 W USB-C cable doubles as a carrying strap, while a smart display tracks power, battery level and charge cycles. UGREEN also says its Dymondcell 2.0 high-density cells are rated to retain 90% of their capacity after 800 charge cycles.

The MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W takes a different approach, pairing Qi2 25 W charging with automotive-grade TEC active cooling and a fan that UGREEN rates at a whisper-quiet 15 decibels. It can charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time, with UGREEN claiming it can bring an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in 26 minutes. The stand also comes with a 45 W charger and cable in the box.

Finally, to round out the range, the MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W is aimed at travellers. It folds flat into a pocketable clamshell, then opens into a magnetic phone stand with a cool-touch glass surface and a wide charging pad for earbuds.

All three MagFlow products are available now through the UGREEN official store and Amazon. The MagFlow Pro power bank carries a US$149.99 price tag, the 3-in-1 stand is priced at US$159.99, and the 2-in-1 foldable charger lands at US$59.99.
