The Canadian Game Awards has put out a new video titled “Eh! Game Pulse” highlighting a variety of talented Canadian game studios and developers.

The nearly 15-minute video is broken up into two parts, with the first focusing on games released this year, and the second on upcoming games across the next year or so. It was released by the Awards during the Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS), Canada’s largest yearly business-to-business video game conference. The MIGS recently took place on November 11-12.

In terms of games this year, it includes Assassin’s Creed Shadows (Ubisoft Quebec), South of Midnight (Compulsion Games), Hell is Us (Rogue Factor), Gears of War Reloaded (The Coalition), Grounded 2 (Obsidian and Eidos Montreal), and EA sports titles like NHL 26 and Skate (EA Vancouver and Full Circle). It also shows a wide array of over a dozen upcoming titles, from the highly anticipated Mass Effect 5 by BioWare to charming sci-fi puzzlers like First Moon of Mercury by Games by Stitch.

The Canadian Game Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 21, 2026, at the TIFF Lightbox cultural centre in Toronto, Ontario. The awards are built around three pillars to honor developers, content creators, and Esports players and coaches. Here’s a description of the show from the official website,

“The Canadian Game Awards (CGA) are a celebration of Canada’s growing gaming industry, one of the largest in the world. This award show highlights Canada’s position on the global stage as a leader in interactive entertainment. Designed “by the industry, for the industry,” the CGA also strives to engage the public and fans in celebrating this thriving sector.”

Nominees are currently open for the awards, letting anyone nominate their game project, esports player/event, content creator, and more. Head to the Canadian Game Awards website to nominate or for more information.
