CES 2025 is the home for all technology innovation for the coming 2025 year, and this year HP has pulled out all the stops for AI solutions and PCs that can deploy them effectively.
With CES 2025 officially kicking off tomorrow, some tech companies have gotten ahead of the curve with notable presentations before the official Consumer Electronics Show floor opens. Last year, AI dominated the conversation, with CoPilot+ PCs in the production stage. Notably, in 2024, Microsoft CoPilot+ PCs were only certified on the Snapdragon X platform at the time, on devices like the ASUS Vivobook S 15. Meanwhile, tech giants like Apple and Google held separate keynotes to showcase AI advancements on their respective operating systems. HP has taken note and brought all its AI-enhanced peripherals to centre stage at CES 2025, including portable PCs, mini PCs, and everything in between.
CES 2025: HP introduces the HP OmniStudio X All-in-One Next Gen AI PC

HP introduced its new AI solution for all-in-one computing with the HP OmniStudio X. The OmniStudio X comes pre-equipped with the latest Windows 11 Home or Pro operating system and features an Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 258V processor, offering 12 cores for desktop AI computing. It also includes a USB Type-C DP-in port, enabling users to multitask while running AI creations on the 31.5-inch 4K display.
To simplify computing, multitasking, and deploying AI in home setups, HP also unveiled the HP Thunderbolt 4 Ultra 280W Dock. Introduced at CES 2025, this dock is compatible with all operating systems, including macOS, and supports up to a 360Hz refresh rate. The Thunderbolt dock can connect the OmniStudio X to up to three additional displays simultaneously without performance issues.

The new HP Thunderbolt 4 Ultra comes with HP Wolf Security, designed to keep PCs safe by utilizing “resiliency at every level.” This security suite features AI-assisted threat assessment with Sure Click, unique HP security chips, and Sure Recover, which enables users to restore their data and operating system easily. During its CES 2025 presentation, HP assured that nearly every device in its catalogue is compatible with users’ existing setups, ensuring an easy installation process.
For advanced computing, HP revealed a collaboration with Adobe, announcing the HP Z Captis, described as “the world’s first digital material capture system integrated with Adobe Substance 3Di.” The HP Z Captis provides a new range of solutions for 3D creators.

The HP Z Captis is powered by an embedded NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier system-on-module and HP’s Capture Management Software Development Kit (SDK), providing 3D creators with a solution to “sample and remix” reality. The HP Z Captis is designed with one goal in mind: revolutionizing the way materials are digitized.
This innovative tool helps 3D creators develop computer vision applications by utilizing the HP Capture Management SDK to easily implement vision models and algorithms, leverage the embedded NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier for real-time inferencing, and generate proprietary datasets for hands-on creative control.
