From the developers of the Summoner War series, Com2uS, present a sneak peek into Gachiakuta: The Game, in collaboration with Kodansha, to bring the beloved anime series to a wider audience and expand its universe. As Gachiakuta leads in average viewership on Crunchyroll in the United States, Germany, and France, and maintains a high ranking across major OTT platforms in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe, the upcoming title presents a new way for fans to experience the series, featuring cel-shaded visuals, a unique narrative, and flashy character art based on the anime.
With the manga series starting in February 2022 and the anime adaptation premiering in July 2025, Gachiakuta follows Rudo, who once lived on the floating city where the wealthy dispose of their waste and people, but is now exiled to the Pit for a murder he was falsely accused of. Needing to survive against the mutated beasts in the Pit, Rudo joins the rogue Cleaner and must learn to wield new powers to battle monsters and get his revenge on those who have wronged him.
As the anime’s second season wrapped up on December 21, Com2uS has presented the first teaser for Gachiakuta: The Game, offering a sneak peek into what players can expect. The teaser showcases the graffiti-inspired aesthetic and key characters battling a beast, with Rudo arriving at the end to deliver the final blow. From what is known so far about the upcoming action-RPG title, players embark on missions, battle against various foes, and safely return to their secure area.
