AVerMedia has brought 4K streaming to DSLR cameras with the CamStream 4K, and at Computex 2025, they are letting people test it out in person.
After some careful research, AVerMedia learned that DSLR cameras are seeing their biggest boom in ages. After learning that, they realized there was an untapped market for content creators, with the ability to stream straight from their pro cameras. Enter the AVerMedia CamStream 4K. This plug-and-play device allows users to capture up to 4K60 and turn their DSLR, mirrorless, action cam or camcorder into a high-performance webcam.

Launching June 2025, the AVerMedia CamStream 4K can connect your pro camera to your laptop, PC or Android smartphone. It offers ultra-low latency with audio and video in sync, whether you’re streaming on Twitch or making a presentation at work. Connecting your camera to your smartphone and the CamStream 4K using any USB camera-supported streaming app will allow you to go live on the go.
At only 26 grams and 80.8 x 40.8 x 14.5 mm, the CamStream 4K is compact and portable, fitting easily alongside your other equipment. It also comes in 1/4″ female threading and a 1/4” cold/hot shoe mount, allowing it to adapt to your setup.
