HYTE Unveils New Y50 RGB Essential Aesthetic Case at Computex 2026

HYTE is looking to make its signature case design more accessible with the new Y50 RGB Essential Aesthetic Case, announced at Computex 2026.

HYTE took to Computex 2026 in Taipei to announce the Y50 RGB Essential Aesthetic Case, the latest addition to its popular Y-Series lineup and a new entry point into the brand’s premium design. Priced at $99.99 USD, the chassis is designed to deliver the iconic Y-Series experience to a broader range of builders without compromising on the quality or aesthetics the company has built its reputation on.

The Y50 RGB carries forward the Y-Series core elements fans have come to expect: a three-piece panoramic tempered glass panel for unobstructed system views, a dual-chamber layout to simplify cable management, and enough internal flexibility to support up to nine total fans alongside dual 360mm radiator setups. To sweeten the package further, HYTE is including four ARGB fans with every unit, each featuring a reverse blade design and eight LEDs per blade, giving builders immediate lighting and airflow performance without any additional purchases. Even from the early looks, the new Y50 RGB Essential is striking and appears to offer plenty of usable space for any new PC builds.

New to the Y50 RGB is a stair-stepped interior floor that provides extra clearance for customization, a horizontally mounted GPU configuration with seven full-sized PCIe expansion slots, and a symmetrical front I/O that integrates cleanly into the case’s corner. The panel includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a combo audio jack. The case also introduces native compatibility with rear-connect motherboard ecosystems, including ASUS BTF, GIGABYTE’s STEALTH, and MSI Project ZERO, something we love to see as cable-free builds continue to grow in popularity.

“Y50 RGB brings all the hallmarks of HYTE’s Iconic Y-Series cases while modernizing the platform and making it more accessible to builders around the world,” said Senior Product Marketing Manager for HYTE, Ish Patel. “It packs all the necessities and niceties anyone needs in a modern chassis at a price that everyone wants — especially in this economy.”

The case will be available in five colour options at launch: Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk. Pre-orders open in June 2026 through HYTE.com and participating retailers, with a full retail launch planned for Q3 2026. More details are available at hyte.co.
