Today at gamescom CORSAIR tore back the curtain on their newest monitor, the XENEON FLEX OLED, a 45-inch gaming monitor that allows the user to bend the display at a whim.
The newest monitor in the CORSAIR arsenal boasts the ability to remove the consumer choice between flat or curved, by simply allowing users to bend their monitor screen. From completely flat, the XENEON FLEX OLED can bend to an 800R curve, or anywhere in the middle of the spectrum. So gamers can enjoy the FPS capabilities a curved display offers, or flatten their real-time strategy out in a fell swoop.
The XENEON FLEX OLED isn’t just a gimmicky display, however, with an anti-reflective coating finish to reduce glare and reflections, and LG Display’s protective Low Blue Light technology, this monitor can allow gamers to enter a gruelling death march state. Letting players power through new content like Destiny 2‘s King’s Fall raid that made its way over from the original title set to release Friday.
The new CORSAIR monitor utilizes a sophisticated burn-in prevention system, complete with the backing of a three-year zero burn in and zero dead pixel warranty. Senior Director of Systems Product Management & Marketing of CORSAIR, Dennis Jackson said “We challenged ourselves to create a game-changing display that delivers an incredible and customizable experience, and I think we’ve achieved that goal and more,” while boasting “With the help of LG Display, XENEON OLED FLEX is the beginning of a whole new class of gaming monitor, with the performance and literal flexibility to exceed the needs of even the most discerning gamers.”
Gaming Strategy & Marketing Team Leader at LG Display, Mine Lee echoed the sentiment and included “CORSAIR is a fantastic partner with which to bring flexible W-OLED displays to gamers,” adding “We can’t wait to put this new class of gaming display in the hands of PC enthusiasts.”
The CORSAIR XENEON FLEX OLED 45″ will be on full display at gamescom, with more information including advanced specs and release date being announced later in 2022. Fans looking to stay in the loop can follow the official CORSAIR Twitter account for updates.
