It is time to return to hell as Diablo IV kicks off its upcoming season on January 21st, 2025, Season of Witchcraft. Something is going on as Heads have been stolen from the Tree of Whisper, and you must assist the Witches of Hawezar to track down the heads and culprits, in exchange, you will be bestowed the wonders of Witchcraft while fighting against many new foes.

As the players step foot into Diablo IV: Season of Witchcraft, channel the power of the swamp thanks to the teaching of the Witches of Howezar. You will be exploring three different schools of Witchcraft powers to find the ability combination that fits your play style, whether you are seeking supernatural strength, becoming a practitioner of connected mind and spirit, or wishing to wield both healing and harming skills. By seeking and wielding the new Seasonal Legendary Gems, Occult Gems, you can harness the iconic and devastating abilities of the fan-favourite, Diablo III.
Alongside travelling the schools and wielding new powers in Diablo IV: Season of Witchcraft, players will be fighting many new enemies and bosses. The Stolen Heads that were cut from the Tree of Whisper, have mutated into ghastly abomination and are desperate to become human again. Battle against the new Headrotten Bosses and enemies that are awaiting your arrival as you follow the Whisper of the Dead. From completing the endgame Headhunts, players will have the opportunity to hunt down Headrotten and claim their heads in exchange for Occult Gem, but if lucky enough, you might find a “Headed” Headrottens Boss, a rare boss that can grant you even more valuable rewards.

Not to mention, a new armoury feature will arrive in Diablo IV: Season of Witchcraft, allowing players to quickly save and swap between complete character load-outs. With this ability, the players can save and overwrite different builds for their heroes. As the players swap between their builds, all their gears, skill points, and Paragon Points will automatically be applied.
But you can’t talk about the new season of Diablo IV without mentioning the seasonal rewards. Season of Witchcraft will add additional Uniques and Legendaries to the loot pool, and Vessel of Hatred players will also experience three new Runes and updates to the existing Runes. If you have what it takes to seek more drops, you can ascend tiers of Coven’s Favor, earn rewards such as the Raven Pet via the Season Journey, and progress through the Battle Pass.
