It’s now less than a month until the next title in the Doom franchise, Doom: The Dark Ages, lands on consoles — and Xbox has revealed accessories to help push back Hell.
As fans count down the days until Doom: The Dark Ages launches, those planning a day-one excursion to Hell can now go fully loaded. Microsoft has unveiled the new Doom: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Accessories Collection, which includes everything a Slayer could need to storm the gates and bring demons to their knees. A trailer showcasing the collection is available below — and everything is available to pre-order today.
The Limited Edition Accessories launch comes with three DOOM-flavoured accessories to show off a Slayer’s fandom, and they’re listed below.
DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Accessories
- DOOM Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller – This is the standard fare Xbox Series S/X controller wrapped in the glorious green armour of battle the Doom Slayer is known to adorn while going door to door. The right grip has a blood spatter Doom Slayer insignia (what else would it be written in?) and the handles look like the armour plates fastened to the Slayer’s chest. The controller also includes the DOOM Slayer Executioner Skin DLC for DOOM: The Dark Ages, adding style in-game to the player in-real-life.
- The Xbox Wireless Controller – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition is available now for $79.99, and can be pre-ordered from retailers and the Microsoft Store.
- The Xbox Elite Series 2 – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition – This controller comes as everything a player can expect from the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller except it’s equipped for battle in the deepest pits of Hell. The mark of the DOOM Slayer is emblazoned on the front in a font that can only be described as ‘red fury’ and fans can adjust controller keybinds as simply as the regular Elite Series 2 controller option (from the Xbox Accessories menu). The Doom Slayer emblazoned Elite Series 2 is available for pre-order today for $199.99 and will be released on April 25. Fans can only pre-order this item exclusively at the Microsoft Store while supplies last.
- Lastly, The Xbox Series X Wrap – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition console wrap can even customize the user’s Xbox Series X console (in either the digital-only or disc drive format) in Hellish brimstone. Of course, the mark of the DOOM Slayer is front and centre, matching both DOOM limited edition controllers. The console wrap is easy to install with a velcro strip on the back for ease of use, and it includes a slot cover for Xbox users who lack the disc drive. This console wrap can be found exclusively at the Microsoft store for $54.99 while supplies last.
