Hasbro Entertainment announced the Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures FAST channel back in May with very little information, but today, they’ve announced three shows and a release date in November.
FAST stands for Free Ad-Supported TV, and Hasbro has finally pinned down a release date for their upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures-based channel, it will arrive with three original series exclusive to the channel, and the release date is also literally right around the corner. The FAST channel will premiere on Amazon Freevee and Plex with more platforms to be added in the future. D&D: Adventures will launch with Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!, Encounter Party, and Heroes’ Feast. A sneak preview of Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill! can be seen below, with some instantly recognizable faces.
Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures – Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!
Hasbro has released small previews for all three of the upcoming original series and the stars that appear in the campaign. Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill! serves up what appears to be randomly generated comedic situations with tabletop gaming stars and celebrity guest players including; Seth Green, Anjali Bhimani, Skeet Ulrich, Sean Gunn, Mica Burton, Patton Oswalt and series co-creator Matthew Lillard. The Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures series targets seasoned TTRPG vets and newcomers alike, and every episode features an improvised, stand-alone story featuring hilarious scenarios that will keep audiences entertained even through character deaths.
Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures – Encounter Party
The second series, Encounter Party stars Dungeon Master and Co-Executive Producer Brian David Judkins with six other adventurers as the party guides their characters from the sea to the shady streets of iconic cities like Baldur’s Gate. There is also a preview trailer available on the official D&D Beyond YouTube account, along with some of the moments fans can expect to see from the Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures series.
Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures – Heroes’ Feast
The third and final launch series takes gamers off the board and into the kitchen, with hosts Chef Mike Haracz and Actor/Filmmaker Sujata Day in Heroes’ Feast. The hosts band together to confront their greatest adversary, recipes and cocktails from the Dungeons & Dragons cookbook. Special guests will also join the kitchen adventure, with confirmed appearances from Khary Payton, Michelle Nguyen Bradley, Jonah Ray, Freddie Wong and more. Fans who have been waiting to give the cookbook a spin can do so as early as November 13, with a party of like-minded individuals on the kitchen battlefield.
It’s worth mentioning Hasbro has also announced Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures will also include the 1980s Dungeons & Dragons animated series, with Rivals of Waterdeep, High Rollers, DesiQuest, and other D&D-based adventures.
