Elgato Now Offering Native Voicemod Effects To Wave Link and Stream Deck

The CORSAIR brand Elgato has unveiled a major expansion of its partnership with Voicemod, now bringing Voicemod’s tools directly to Elgato platforms.

Users will now be able to seamlessly integrate and apply voice filters straight to their microphone through Wave Link as VST effects. In the past, this process would have necessitated having the Voicemod and Wave Link running in the background. Now, users can bypass always-running apps, instead storing a native method in its place with just Wave Link. Soundboards, too, are now easily available to Stream Decks and can be routed to any audio mix in Wave Link, which can now be freely used with any interface or microphone. Both of these new features are available on the Elgato Marketplace.

“For the first time, Voicemod’s voice technology is running natively inside the tools creators already rely on,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Voicemod, Jaime Bosch. “Elgato gives people the control layer for their audio setup, and Voicemod adds the creative layer, so your voice can become part of your identity online. We’ve always believed everyone should be able to express themselves through sound, and this partnership makes that easier than ever.”

Elgato boasts that free and premium options are available easily on the Elgato Marketplace. Some of these voice changers include military comms, anime characters, an evil AI, a trailer guy, and more, promised to come. Any purchased voice changer can be put into Wave Link in a couple of clicks. They even have themed interfaces based on which character is installed.

This update is meant to address the former problem of routing audio through multiple apps. The previous setup most people had routed audio starting with VoiceMod, then through Wave Link, and finally to apps like Discord or OBS Studio. Voice changers now run inside Wave Link as VST effects, a much faster and more reliable process than the previous method. The voice changers can be applied to other audio channels too, so if you choose so, any incoming audio could be a trailer guy, pretty immersive.

As for the Stream Deck, users can shop for fully fleshed-out sound boards directly on the same Elgato marketplace. They install directly to the Stream Deck with no fluff needed. The soundboards currently available are made for 15-key Stream Decks, but support for other themes and models is coming over time. You can now even route their soundboards to specific destinations like stream, voice chat, and headphones. This lets you control who can and can’t hear your soundboards.
