Archetype Entertainment has revealed new information and concept art for their upcoming game, EXODUS, a sci-fi role-playing game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Following the announcement of EXODUS at The Game Awards by Matthew McConaughey, the development team has been providing a steady stream of updates, and today is no different as they have more news to share with fans waiting patiently for the game release. Today, the team has shared new details about a mysterious alien form called Silicates, the ability to transform into a Daemon from contact, and new concept art to give a glimpse into Silicates and Daemon.
The biggest update to be unveiled for EXODUS is Silicates, a mysterious alien form completely unknown to the Celestials, yet forms a symbiotic relationship with humankind. When touched, the Silicates would transform the host into a powerful Daemon that is capable of fighting against the Celestials as living weapons, but it comes with a downside. The downside of becoming a Daemon is the intrusive and violent thoughts taking over their mind, as only the strongest and most resistant can flourish. With the risk, is the reward worth it for the Travelers in their ongoing battle for survival against the Celestials?
Alongside learning about Silicate’s relation to humankind and their ability to turn into a Daemon, EXODUS shared collections of concept art to give a glimpse into their designs. The designs showcase the transformation into Daemon, upper body shots, healing, and during battles.
For those unaware of EXODUS, your main objective is to save humanity, as there is only one chance to prevent extinction. To save humanity, you will lead the Travelers to the stars to steal alien weapons and technology from the most powerful enemy in this universe, the Celestials. As you complete your task, you will have to make sacrifices as you put everyone you love at risk, confronting Time Dilation as every second matters no matter where you are as a day for you are decades for friends and loved ones back at home, and make a massive choice as it affects the future of your world.
