The Expendables 4 Casts Megan Fox, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, 50 Cent & More

Production Begins This Fall

Megan Fox, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and 50 Cent Confirmed for New 'Expendables' Film

A new Expendables film is coming and this one has quite a few recognizable names, including Megan Fox, who is making her first appearance in the action-packed franchise.

The last Expendables film was released an eternity ago, or at least that’s what August 2014 feels like, so this should make fans of the last three happy. Seven years is a long time to wait, but it looks like it will be worth it.

Director Scott Waugh will be bringing the next film to fruition. Fans of action films may recognize his name from 2014’s Need for Speed, which was a solid adaptation of EA’s car-racing franchise. Waugh brought thrilling moments to the screen and will hopefully do the same for The Expendables franchise.

The screenplay comes from Spenser Cohen but also includes work by John Joseph Connolly and Max Adams. Fans of the action franchise will have to wait for just a bit longer to see the film though as it doesn’t start production until later this year.

The first film was directed by Sylvester Stallone, and it was no different in terms of the recognizable cast it attracted. Even the cameos in The Expendables were pretty big. It featured names such as Charisma Carpenter, Jet Li, and Mickey Rourke. Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger were among the cameos. This was a big deal in 2010 and the fourth film should be too, especially with all the big names attached. Megan Fox, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, 50 Cent, Tony Jaa and Randy Couture are all said to appear according to IMDB.

The Expendables 4 will begin production this fall. There is no expected release date as of writing, but it will likely take some time, especially as the pandemic continues and COVID-19 cases rise. The film industry will more than likely continue to experience a tumultuous time until (read: if) things go back to “normal.”
