A Super Bowl champion has leapt onto the cover of EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26. Philadelphia Eagles’ own Saquon Barkley has been chosen for the cover of Madden NFL 26 after a spectacular season, rushing for over 2500 yards (the first player to achieve that milestone) and helping to lead his team to a Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Barkley will grace two covers. There is the cover for the standard version of the game, featuring his epic reverse hurdle against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Deluxe Edition, where Barkley is giving you the intimidating stare that lets you know that you’re the one he’s about to hurdle.
Saquon Barkley is the first Philadelphia Eagle to make the cover of a Madden game in 20 years, with former QB Donovan McNabb being on the cover for the 2006 edition of the game. Barkley’s amazing season not only nabbed him the cover, but the first slot in Madden’s “99 club,” bestowing upon him the highest rating in the game, an honour saved for only the elite players featured in the game.
“Starring on the cover of Madden NFL 26 and being named to the Madden NFL ‘99 Club’ are both dreams come true,” said Barkley. “I’m grateful to my teammates, coaches, and Eagles fans for their support, and I can’t wait to hit the field again to give Madden players more highlight-reel moments in Madden NFL 26.”
