On Friday, Epic Games announced Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 has started today, and the Battle Bus returned players to the iconic Tilted Towers location.
It’s time for Fortnite fans to jump back into the second season of Fortnite OG, and Epic Games has fired on all cylinders to bring the title back to the same state as the original season two, which released in 2018. After announcing that Fortnite OG will return for good in November 2024, the Battle Bus has brought Battle Royale combatants back to when Tilted Towers sat high on the battlefield, and fans can return to when the iconic location was first introduced. Epic Games has a trailer showcasing all of the mayhem of season two, and it can be seen below.
Although Fortnite OG brings back the ability to return to Tilted Towers, fans can also pick up some nostalgic loot from the item shop, and players can even earn some of the premium offerings straight from the OG Pass. Outfits formerly released in the original Chapter One Season Two return in new ways, with Epic Games launching two item shop skins that resemble highly sought-after outfits from 2018. These items are inspired by Sparkle Specialist and Black Knight (some of the rarest Fortnite skins) and the release lets fans cosplay as a Fortnite player from 2018.
Epic Games also re-released a large swath of weaponry for combatants to find, and they’re listed as follows:
- Small Shield Potion
- Multi-Surface Damage Trap
- Boogie Bomb
- Suppressed Pistol
- Cozy Campfire
- Chug Jug
- Minigun
- Crossbow
- Impulse Grenade
With the return of the Fortnite OG Chapter One Season Two armaments, Battle Island has almost been restored from 2018, but Epic Games has also announced the entire map will return to as it was for 2018, including the return of other battlegrounds consistent with the time. Shifty Shafts, Junk Junction, Haunted Hills, and Snobby Shores have all returned for combatants to land into, and the entire map has been revealed by Epic Games.
