After months of rumour, a Fortnite x Toy Story collaboration has been leaked ahead of an official announcement today, adding to Epic’s Disney crossovers.
Yesterday, a report came out that Disney may want to purchase Epic Games at some point, and today, a new Disney x Fortnite collaboration has leaked. It’s no secret Disney owns a sizable stake in Epic Games. Disney’s previous investment in developer Epic Games (to the tune of $1.5 billion in 2024) was designated to “collaborate on an all-new games and entertainment universe,” which will further expand the reach of the company’s beloved stories and experiences. It appears bringing Toy Story to Battle Island fits that bill.

The long-rumoured Toy Story collaboration has been leaked by a wildly accurate Fortnite information source, ShiinaBR, over on X (formerly Twitter). According to the leaker, Buzz Lightyear and his arch nemesis Zurg will be featured as Showdown Cup skins, which might mean Fortnite is bringing back its current template (The Rock/The Foundation vs. Ice King) for Toy Story. If so, the pair will first be available through the Buzz vs Zurg Showdown Cup. It’s also worth mentioning that the user ShiinaBR has “Partnered with Epic Games” in the account’s bio. This is reminiscent of The Simpsons leak that occurred in October 2025, just before release.

Showdown Cups provide early access to skins before they release in the Item Shop, so the pair may be available for purchase separately in the future. This leak announcement pales in comparison to The Simpsons leak, so a full map takeover like Springfield is unlikely this time around. Previous Fortnite leaks have suggested the three-eyed Aliens from Toy Story are coming as Sidekicks, a new way for collabs to be featured in-game (hopefully, they can’t drive in-game).
It’s worth noting that nothing has been confirmed yet. While ShiinaBR has a remarkably high accuracy rate with leaks in Fortnite, fans should take the news with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.
