At Gamescom 2025, Nvidia announced that more than 175 games now support DLSS, including several of this year’s most anticipated titles.
Nvidia continues to expand the selection of games compatible with DLSS 4, with support now available in over 175 titles. For those unfamiliar, DLSS is a suite of advanced, AI-powered neural rendering technologies that improve gaming visuals—even when demanding features like ray tracing are enabled.
By pushing the limits of what RTX GPUs can deliver, DLSS enables smoother frame rates and clearer visuals, even on hardware that would otherwise struggle to achieve such performance. While it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution, DLSS can allow an RTX 5070—or even an RTX 5060—to compete with last generation’s RTX 4080, delivering frame rates well above 100 FPS in many of today’s top games. The growing list of supported titles makes a stronger case for investing in the RTX 50-series GPUs.
Launched alongside the 50-series RTX GPUs, DLSS 4 builds on the foundation of earlier versions while leveraging new capabilities introduced with the Blackwell architecture. With multi-frame generation, DLSS 4 enables the GPU to produce three frames for every traditionally rendered one, significantly boosting performance.
It also includes DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, and Nvidia Reflex technology—ensuring games look better, run smoother and respond faster, all without compromising visuals or gameplay.
The announcements didn’t stop there. Nvidia also revealed that more titles will incorporate advanced technologies such as path tracing and ray tracing, making DLSS more exciting than ever. Path tracing is coming to Resident Evil Requiem and Directive 8020, while ray tracing will be featured in Phantom Blade Zero, Pragmata and Cinder City. These enhancements will deliver clearer visuals and a more immersive experience—provided your GPU can handle the demands.

“DLSS 4 and path tracing are no longer cutting-edge graphical experiments — they’re the foundation of modern PC gaming titles,” said vice president of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA, Matt Wuebbling. “Developers are embracing AI-powered rendering to unlock stunning visuals and massive performance gains, enabling gamers everywhere to experience the future of real-time graphics today.”
New titles announced at Gamescom that will support the latest RTX technologies include:
- Directive 8020 and Resident Evil Requiem, which will launch with DLSS 4 and path tracing
- Black State, Cinder City (formerly Project LLL), Cronos: The New Dawn, Dying Light: The Beast, Honeycomb: The World Beyond, Lost Soul Aside, The Outer Worlds 2, Phantom Blade Zero and Pragmata, which will launch with DLSS 4 and ray tracing
- Borderlands 4 and Fate Trigger, which will launch with DLSS 4 featuring Multi Frame Generation
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which will add support for RTX Hair in September—a technology that uses new RTX 50 Series hardware capabilities to model hair with enhanced path-traced detail and realism
To celebrate the release of Borderlands 4, Nvidia is launching a new GeForce RTX 50 Series bundle. Gamers who purchase a GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti or 5070 desktop GPU—or a laptop with a GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti or 5070 Laptop GPU—from participating retailers will receive a copy of Borderlands 4 and The Gilded Glory Pack DLC. The offer is available until Monday, Sept. 22.
