Genshin Impact Unveils Mavuika Trailer: The Pyro Archon Of Natlan

HoYoverse has released a Genshin Impact trailer for their upcoming character, Mavuika, a Pyro Archon that wields a claymore and drives around in her motorcycle.

Being first revealed at the end of November, HoYoverse has released a Genshin Impact trailer about their upcoming Pyro Archon, Mavuika, as she will be available on January 1st, 2025 for fans to pull for and utilize in their team. From what is known so far, she is the Pyro Archon of Natlan, the latest region revealed as part of the seven regions of Teyvat and wields a claymore. This is quite interesting as she will be the first Archon to wield a claymore as her weapon.

From the Genshin Impact trailer, we see Mavuika blazing across the field with her motorcycle and gliding, as she helps light the flames in her village and saves a little girl against a pack of Rifthounds. The way her combat is shown in the trailer is unique as she uses her motorcycle to fight against the Rifthounds, which is similar to Dante in Devil May Cry 5 with his Cavaliere motorcycle and the iconic slide from Akira. Expanding a bit into the combat, she is shown to be using her claymore when fighting against the enemies on her motorcycle and foot, alongside using her Elemental Burst to support her teammates against the pack of enemies.

Outside the combat, we get to see and hear Mavuika sing with her band in Genshin Impact, a great treat for the fans who enjoy the music from the beloved Gacha game. The music is produced by the HOYO-MiX and composed by Dimeng Yuan (HOYO-Mix), with Chrissy Costanza lending her voice as she sang.

With the Pyro Archon of Natlan arriving at Genshin Impact on January 1st, 2025, players will get the chance to pull for Mavuika as part of her Ancient Flame Ablaze – Event Wish banner. Genshin Impact is available to download now for PS4 and PS5, iOS, Android, PC (via HoYoPlay and Epic Games Store), and Xbox Series X|S.
