The Pixel 10 series is here, and Google’s latest smartphones are loaded with next-gen AI tools, better durability, and a major camera upgrade.
As summer draws to a close, many tech enthusiasts look forward to one sign of the season’s end: the reveal of the latest Google Pixel 10 series. As an avid Pixel user, I anticipate each new generation of the flagship devices. This year’s lineup looks impressive, offering something for every type of consumer, from casual users to high-end, tech-savvy buyers. Google is set to release four new Pixel smartphones, along with a range of other Pixel-based features and accessories.
The Pixel 10 series features a sleek, durable design with the signature camera bar seamlessly integrated into a body made from premium materials. Android’s user interface has undergone its most significant redesign in years, introducing new wallpaper effects, a refined app layout, a modernized notification shade and more. Built with spacecraft-grade aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the phones are engineered for improved resistance to scratches and drops. With an IP68 rating, they also provide strong protection against water and dust. In addition, all models will receive up to seven years of operating system, security and Pixel Drop updates, ensuring long-term access to new features and enhancements.

The Google Pixel 10 series is powered by the new Tensor G5 processor, Google’s most significant upgrade in custom silicon for Pixel. With deeper customization from architecture to manufacturing, Tensor G5 is built for the Gemini era using the latest process node technology. Its TPU is up to 60 percent more powerful, enabling advanced on-device AI, and it delivers double-digit performance gains across compute cores, including a CPU that is on average 34 percent faster. These improvements create smoother user experiences and power new features such as Magic Cue, Pro Res Zoom, Auto Best Take and real-time voice translations during phone calls through Live Translate. The chip also includes an upgraded image signal processor, providing the best photo and video quality ever on a Pixel device.
This year, Google has placed a strong emphasis on Google AI across Pixel devices, offering users a more streamlined experience while also boosting creativity, brainstorming ideas, proactively surfacing useful information and helping complete tasks quickly across apps. AI enhancements now allow Gemini to assist with navigation when paired with Maps. For example, you could ask it to find top-rated family-friendly restaurants nearby, send the list to a family group chat, add a reservation to your calendar and notify you when to leave the office to arrive on time.
THE PIXEL 10

The Google Pixel 10 is built to handle extraordinary tasks every day, with its advanced camera system, integrated AI powered by Gemini, strong performance and 12 GB of RAM. Crafted from durable materials in a sleek, recognizable design, it is rated twice as durable as the Pixel 8. The device features a sharp 6.3-inch Actua display, now brighter than ever with a peak of 3,000 nits for improved outdoor readability. Powering it is a battery that lasts up to 30 hours and can recharge to 55 per cent in about 30 minutes.
The Pixel 10 introduces a triple rear camera system, the first in its class to include three lenses. A new 5x telephoto lens offers 10x optical zoom and up to 20x Super Res Zoom, enabling remarkably sharp close-ups from afar. The 48-megapixel wide camera, backed by Pixel’s HDR+ technology, delivers crisp, detailed images even in challenging light. An ultrawide lens captures more within each frame, making it well-suited for landscapes and interiors. No matter which lens you use, the Pixel 10 enhances photography with advanced features such as Night Sight, Macro Focus and Panorama.
For selfies, the 10.5-megapixel front camera with autofocus produces sharp, shareable results. And with the new Tensor G5 image signal processor, the Pixel 10 records 10-bit HDR video by default, offering richer detail and more vibrant colour than ever before.
THE PIXEL 10 PRO & 10 PRO XL

The Google Pixel 10 Pro sets a new benchmark in smartphone performance, featuring advanced AI powered by Gemini, an upgraded camera system, refined design, the new Tensor G5 chip and 16 GB of RAM for Google’s most powerful device to date. Its Pro triple-camera system includes enhancements such as Pro Res Zoom, High-Resolution Portraits and improved stabilization through Video Boost. The device is elegantly designed with polished metal accents, durable materials and the immersive Super Actua display — the brightest yet on a Pixel, reaching up to 3,300 nits. Twice as durable as the Pixel 8 Pro, it is engineered to withstand everyday drops, scratches, spills and dust. Available in two sizes — 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches — the Pro line offers flexibility without compromise. Both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL include batteries that last up to 30 hours and support fast charging.
Like the Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro features a triple rear camera system — the most advanced yet on a Pixel. Powered by the new Pixel image signal processor on Tensor G5, it captures photos, portraits, panoramas and videos in varied lighting conditions, both near and far. The 50-megapixel wide camera, supported by enhanced optical stabilization, delivers smooth, cinematic video even in high-motion scenes. With Video Boost, Night Sight Video, 8K recording and Super Res Zoom Video, footage is sharper and more vibrant than ever. The upgraded 5x telephoto lens provides exceptional clarity, with 100x Pro Res Zoom enabling detailed close-ups. On the front, a 42-megapixel camera with autofocus and a wide field of view allows for expansive group selfies.
The Pixel 10 Pro starts at $999, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL, now offering 256 GB of base storage, starts at $1,199. Both models are available in Obsidian, Moonstone, Porcelain and Jade.
PIXEL 10 PRO FOLD

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold features the largest screen yet on a Pixel, along with advanced AI powered by Gemini, 16 GB of RAM and the new Tensor G5 chip designed for powerful multitasking. Inside, a massive 8-inch Super Actua Flex display is built for immersive entertainment or efficient multitasking. On the outside, slimmer borders and thinner bezels make room for a larger 6.4-inch Actua display while maintaining a familiar form factor. With peak brightness up to 3,000 nits — 11 per cent brighter than before — the display is easier to read outdoors. When closed, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is remarkably thin, supported by a new gearless, high-strength hinge that improves comfort and durability. The device offers enhanced drop protection, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a larger battery lasting up to 30 hours. Fast charging provides a 50 per cent charge in about 30 minutes. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts at $1,799 and is available in Moonstone and Jade.
Durability is a central focus of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It achieves an IP68 rating for the first time, offering stronger protection against dust and water. The gearless hinge, made from aerospace-grade materials, is engineered to withstand more than a decade of folding. Inside, the Super Actua Flex display is reinforced with ultra-thin glass and dual layers of impact-resistant film. The front display and back cover are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for improved scratch and drop resistance. These durability features are integrated into a slim, comfortable design.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold also redefines photography with its flexible design and AI-powered tools. Instant View lets users review photos side by side on the unfolded screen immediately after capture, while Dual Screen Preview allows subjects to see themselves during portraits and videos. The rear camera system includes a 48-megapixel wide lens, a 5x telephoto lens with up to 20x Super Res Zoom and an ultrawide lens with Macro Focus. Users can capture higher-quality selfies using the rear camera with Rear Camera Selfie, or take astrophotography and timelapse shots without a tripod in tabletop mode. For families, the Made You Look feature displays playful animations to capture children’s attention during photos.
Multitasking is another defining feature of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Split Screen enables trip planning across multiple apps, while drag-and-drop lets users move images, text, videos and links between apps with ease. The adjustable view supports up to three apps at once, making it possible to compare flight details, check hotel availability and manage group chats simultaneously. Switching between tasks is simple, allowing the Fold to function as both a productivity tool and an entertainment hub.
PIXEL SNAP

New to Pixel this year is Pixelsnap, an integrated magnetic technology built into all Pixel 10 devices. It allows users to easily attach wireless chargers, stands, grips and a wide range of accessories, including Google’s own Pixelsnap cases. The new Pixelsnap Charger supports seamless Qi2 wireless charging at speeds up to 25 watts. The Pixelsnap Charger with Stand lets users dock their phone in portrait or landscape mode for convenient access to content while charging, and the charger can be detached for portability. For hands-free viewing, the Pixelsnap Ring Stand enables movie watching, video calls and more in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Pixelsnap is also compatible with thousands of magnetic accessories, including certified options from Made for Google partners such as car mounts, wallets, grips and chargers. The Pixelsnap Charger starts at $39.99, the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand at $69.99, the Pixelsnap Ring Stand at $29.99, and Pixelsnap cases at $49.99.
GEMINI LIVE
In the hustle of daily life, it is not always possible to be available to type. With the improved Gemini Live, users can engage in natural, hands-free conversations. Discussions can be enhanced by sharing a screen, images, files or YouTube videos. The camera feature in Gemini Live allows real-time conversations about what you are seeing — whether exploring furniture arrangement ideas for your apartment or troubleshooting bike gear.
All Gemini Live chats and shared content are stored in Gemini Apps Activity, which can be managed or deleted at any time.
MAGIC CUE
The introduction of Magic Cue brings a new level of personalized intelligence and convenience to Pixel. It streamlines digital life by anticipating needs and proactively suggesting relevant information or helpful actions based on context. For instance, if you need to call your airline, Magic Cue displays your flight details as soon as you dial. If friends ask for your Airbnb address, Magic Cue automatically retrieves it for quick sharing. For people on the go, this feature offers practical, everyday usefulness. Magic Cue is powered by Google’s Tensor G5 chip, which leverages on-device AI to process and understand information, delivering proactive assistance without relying solely on the cloud.
The Pixel 10 series offers one of the most refined Android experiences available. With four devices to choose from this year, there is a Pixel for every type of user, along with the flexibility to create a tailored experience. The Pixel 10 delivers flagship performance for most people, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL provide greater power, storage and advanced cameras. For those who want it all — multitasking, cutting-edge AI and one of the most sophisticated foldable designs on the market — the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a strong contender.
