GUNNAR Optiks has expanded its line of blue light glasses with their new line titled “Rush” for kids ages 4-8, 8-12 and 12+.
We’ve all spent the last year looking at our screens more than we probably ever have for extended periods of time. It’s not exactly the best thing for your eyes to be constantly bombarded by the light emanating from your computer, phone, and your television screens. Harmful as it may be for you or me, it can be far more harmful for those eyes which are still developing, and with how much extra time spent in front of screens due to online learning, the negative effects from extended exposure to blue light can be all the more damaging.
With this in mind, GUNNAR Optiks has developed a new line of glasses in their catalogue of blue light glasses designed to work for kids in every aspect. You can watch the latest trailer for the new Rush line here.
The new Rush glasses are available either in clear or amber lenses, which blocks 35% of blue light and 65% of blue light, respectively. They’ve also got features specifically designed for younger kids such as a durable nylon frame, anti-glare lens coating and smudge resistant lenses. They’re both available in natural focus or with a prescription and every pair comes with its own cleaning cloth and protective case with a safety clip to attach the case wherever you may need.
More than just needing to be on screens for school, these glasses are also of course perfect for the young avid gamer, so that relaxing after school doesn’t have to be taxing on their eyes, and neither does the school day. All GUNNAR glasses are also recommended by doctors, and Rush comes in an array of colours like Onyx, Teal, Magenta, Navy Tortoise, Crystal and Tortoise. You can find them at GUNNAR Optiks official website, or on Amazon.
