Halloween Ends Official Trailer Released

"This is Laurie Strode’s last stand."

Halloween Ends Official Trailer Released

The popular horror franchise claims to end this October with Halloween Ends, and its trailer was released today.

On October 14th, 2022, horror fans will see the Halloween saga seemingly come to an end. If the trailer is anything to go by, screams will definitely be had.

The Halloween Ends synopsis reads:

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy BoysVirgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Sadly for me, Judy Greer doesn’t seem to be making an appearance in this sequel, but we will see Jamie Lee Curtis reprise her role of Laurie Strode after four decades of playing the character. More of the cast includes Will Patton as Officer Hawkins, James Jude Courtney as The Shape, Andi Matichak as Allyson and Kyle Richards as Lindsey.

Halloween Ends will be directed by David Gordon Green who also directed the 2018 Halloween and Halloween Kills in 2021. He also was part of the writing team along with Chris Bernier, Danny McBride and Paul Brad Logan with characters created by Debra Hill and John Carptenter. The executive producer list for Halloween Ends is long, including John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and plenty more.

Halloween Ends will be in theatres on October 14, 2022, one month and one day after the release of Halloween Kills.
