The gaming company Razer has partnered up with Sanrio—again—to make a new, very exclusive Hello Kitty Razer Kraken Kitty V2 headset.
Using the Razer standard Kraken headset as a base, the teams came together to give it a design overhaul in full Hello Kitty style, ending up with what they call the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 – Hello Kitty Edition. Covered in a finish of rose gold and metal, the headset looks to be a pretty premium buy, especially if Razer comes through again with another reliable piece of tech. Along with the metallic finish, there is also the classic Hello Kitty style shining through with plush pearlescent pink leatherette cushions and Hello Kitty’s face underneath the headband for “all-day comfort.”

The Razer and Sanrio partnership isn’t just the branding, either, with the headset also coming with all the Razer tech you would expect. Razer’s own RGB Chroma is included in the build, which can light up with the classic pink to match the pink ears that are already included on the headband. And if you’re worried about quality being sacrificed for cuteness, then you’ll be glad to know that the headset comes with Razer TriForce 40 mm drivers and a Razer HyperClear Cardioid mic.
Sanrio is the company behind the Hello Kitty character. Along with creating Hello Kitty back in 1974, the brand has a lot more ventures than just the cute cat we all know. My Melody, Kuromi, LittleTwinStars, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and more all have a place in the Sanrio library. Sanrio says that their philosophy is “that a small gift can bring happiness and friendship to people of all ages.” This headset is no different, with anyone being able to enjoy their favourite games using it, whether it be Hello Kitty Island Adventure or Counter-Strike 2.
This isn’t the first time Razer and Sanrio have partnered together, either. WE have covered their super cute Cinnamoroll set, the Hello Kitty PC collection and the Kuromi Collection. CGM also reviewed the Razer Enki X Kuromi Edition!
Razer Kraken Kitty V2 – Hello Kitty Edition is available at select Target stores and the Target website, but only if you live in the US. Getting one in Canada or other countries is difficult but not impossible. Sitting at a price point of $139.99 USD, any die-hard fan would gladly pay the price for a pink piece of history.
