Hit Point Press has announced that its first two 5e campaign settings, Humblewood and Heckna!, will be available as “Pay What You Want” offerings, as a holiday gift to Dungeons & Dragons fans.
To help Dungeons & Dragons fans celebrate the holidays to the fullest, Hit Point Press is making Humblewood and Heckna! available digitally under the “Pay What You Want” model. These campaigns can also be purchased in print for $29.99. For those unfamiliar with the settings, here is a brief description of what each campaign offers for you to enjoy with friends and family during the holiday season.
Humblewood is an award-winning 5e-compatible campaign setting where you embark on an adventure as birds and many woodland animals with a mission to save the woods from an elemental fire. The crowdfunding campaign has raised over $1 million on Kickstarter and brought on to D&D Beyond earlier this year. The digital download of Humblewood will also include a 5e+ (2024) update for the fans playing with the latest rules.
For those who love the carnival, Heckna! is a 5e adventure set in a whimsical yet dark carnival setting. Your team’s fate will depend on whether you can see through the exciting charade or fall into Heckna’s traps and torments. The set won an Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Game Adventure earlier this year and will be a great addition for Dungeons & Dragons fans who enjoy horror-themed adventures.
