Koch Media Purchases Timesplitters, Second Sight Properties 1

Koch Media announced today, that they have purchased the Timesplitters license, which in turn will fall under their publishing label, Deep Silver.

For those unfamiliar with Timesplitters, the renowned series has been around since the early 2000s, garnering attention for it’s over the top, arcade-inspired, light-gun enabled time-travelling titles. First developed by Free Radical Design, which later became Crytek UK and then transitioned into Deep Silver Dambuster.

“We are hugely excited to have acquired Timesplitters,” commented Klemens Kundratitz, CEO Koch Media GmbH. “The original games gave fans a massive content offer and provided a pure and genuinely fun arcade shooter experience. We have many fans of the Timesplitters series among our own staff who are passionate about creating a product that will thrill todays gaming audience.”

Additionally, Koch Media has also recently acquired the rights to Second Sight, a beloved sci-fi themed action-adventure title from 2004.
