The Full List of Oscars 2024 Winners: Oppenheimer Dominates 2

The 96th Academy Awards, aka Oscars 2024, had a tough battle across all categories, but Oppenheimer fought its way to the top.

In a year that hyped up ‘Barbenheimer’ for so long, this awards season has almost been scripted by fans around the world, and this weekend hosted the biggest awards show for the movie industry: the 96th Academy Awards. To no one’s surprise, the biggest winners were presented to Oppenheimer and its cast and crew. The film took home best picture, director, actor, supporting actor, original score, cinematography and editing for a grand total of 7 massive wins at the Oscars 2024.

The best actress category was a tough one with Poor Thing‘s Emma Stone versus the powerhouses of Annette Bening, Lily Gladstone, Sandra Hüller and Carey Mulligan. However, Stone stood above the rest. She wept and tributed all the amazing women in the category, saying how she “shared” her win with them all. It was a tough one for Martin Scorcese and Gladstone, as Killers of the Flower Moon was nominated in ten categories and did not win a single one. This was the third time Scorcese had ten Oscar nominations but won none of them.

There was a nice variety of musical performances from some of the best films of last year. But we all knew everyone was hyped for Ryan Gosling’s Oscars performance of “I’m Just Ken,” which featured all of the supporting men from the Barbie film. Also, the invisible John Cena was supposedly on stage at the Oscars 2024, but no one could really see him!
