Maschinen-Mensch has announced Mother Machine will be released on March 26, 2025, launching an improved demo to prepare future gremlins.
From the creators of Curious Expedition, Maschinen-Mensch will be releasing Mother Machine on Steam on March 26, 2025. As you explore and fight enemies on the distant planet with your gremlin friends, uncover the dark secrets within the planet and your Artificial Intelligence mother’s true intention. During the Steam Next Fest, an improved demo version will be available today as it features voice acting, UI improvements, additional difficulty modes, and more.
Taking place on an abandoned planet in Mother Machine, an Artificial Intelligence robot was left behind, questioning her purpose in life. To avoid the loneliness, four nearly indestructible gremlins were created by their robotic mother and tasked to collect and explore a cave network of a mysterious alien planet filled with many kinds of creatures. As you embark on your adventure, whether solo or with friends, danger lurks as you learn about the planet’s dark history and your mother’s true motivation.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Mother Machine is a co-op roguelike platformer primarily focusing on a group of gremlins diving deep into the cave to discover new technologies, fight enemies, customize their gremlin’s appearance, and uncover the planet’s darkest secret.
During your exploration, Mother Machine will offer:
- The ability to run, climb, and leap through the complicated and procedurally generated cave.
- Mix and match your gremlin abilities to fit your playstyle.
