To help millions of users with their productivity, Motorola and Lenovo have announced new Smart Connect features with the assistance of moto ai at MWC 2025.
To increase the efficiency of Smart Connect, Motorola and Lenovo have announced new features such as moto ai, a customizable dashboard, and third-party integration. Releasing in the coming weeks, users can take their productivity to the next level on their Motorola phones, Lenovo tablets, and Windows PC.

Smart Connect was released in 2024 to help users transition between their Motorola devices, Lenovo tablets, PC, and smart TVs without disruption. To enhance the user’s productivity, the Smart Connect features:
- Cross Control – Using a single keyboard and mouse to navigate between your PC, tablets, and phones.
- Swipe to stream – Transition app activities across multiple devices with a swipe.
- Notification Sync – Without switching between devices, users can stay up to date with messages and notifications.
- Share Hub – Share large files and media across multiple devices.
- Smart Clipboard – Copy and paste text or images across your phone, PC, and tablet as one single device.
- Instant hotpot – Turn your phone into a 5G hotspot for your PC and tablet without password entry.
- Webcam – Turn your phone into a webcam for video calls and livestreaming. Alongside the webcam feature, you can move video calls from your phone to a compatible Smart TV.
- More space to work and play – With your Motorola phone, enjoy streaming videos and playing games on a compatible smart TV.
Further enhancing the Smart Connect, the software will integrate AI features thanks to moto ai. With the assistance of AI, users can cast contents from their phone to a smart TV and PC using voice and text commands. Within moto ai, users can also use AI Search to gather important documents without wasting time.

Alongside the moto ai features, the Smart Connect dashboard will be redesigned to showcase your compatible devices for managing, adding, removing, and checking battery life. Lastly, the third-party integration will allow users on Motorola and Lenovo devices more freedom to experience select features and smooth workflow.
The Smart Connect update will be available in the coming weeks for select Motorola devices and Lenovo tablets on the Google Play Store, alongside Windows PC through the Microsoft Store.
