Bandai Namco announced recently that the next title in CyberConnect2’s Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series comes to America this September.

Titled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, this marks the fifth release for the veteran fighting game franchise.

The new game features a brand new story mode focusing on Shisui and Itachi Uchiha, who both have a connection to Sasuke. Alongside the in-depth narrative is an improved roster of over 100 playable characters to choose from, giving fans plenty of fighting options.

Revolution also has two different collector’s editions available for pre-order now. The Day 1 Rivals Edition includes DLC costumes for Naruto (who is dressed as Sasuke) and Sasuke (who is dressed as Naruto) while the Samurai Edition packs in the costume DLC as well as a Naruto statue and a special edition metal case for the game.

The slick animation style and accessible fighting system has made the Ultimate Ninja Storm series one of licensed anime’s best forays into the video-game universe. Even those who dislike the Naruto anime series may enjoy the fun, frantic combat the game provides.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution comes out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Be sure to check back to CGM as more details arise.
