Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 Casts Live Action Smoker, Tashigi & More!

Fans have been speculating on who Netflix’s live-action One Piece would cast for their season two Band of Pirates, and they’ve finally revealed Smoker, Tashigi, Wapol and Dalton ahead of the season release.

Since the mostly well-received first season of Netflix‘s live-action One Piece launched, it feels as though those very fans were already putting together their dream cast with wild speculation on who would be the next pirate announced to sail the seas. Fans ran to Reddit en masse (10 months ago) to discuss who they think would be ‘problem characters’ to cast and who they think will appear as iconic characters from the legendary series created by Eiichiro Oda. Luckily, fans no longer have to wait as new cast members (and the legendary characters they portray) have been revealed for season two of One Piece.

Netflix has revealed a wealth of new characters for the live-action adaptation’s season two, and all of the recently revealed One Piece characters (and their actors) can be found listed below (provided by Netflix).

  • Daniel Lasker (Raised by Wolves) as Mr. 9
  • Camrus Johnson (Batwoman) as Mr. 5
  • Jazzara Jaslyn (Warrior) as Miss Valentine
  • David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) as Mr. 3
  • Werner Coetser (Getroud met rugby) as Dorry
  • Brendan Murray (Raised by Wolves) as Brogy
  • Clive Russell (Game of Thrones) as Crocus
  • Callum Kerr (Monarch) as Smoker
  • Julia Rehwald (Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures) as Tashigi
  • Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark) as Wapol
  • Ty Keogh (24 Hours To Live) as Dalton

Funny enough, Rob Colletti has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on his casting choice as Wapol, and he said, “screaming, crying, throwing up.” While it appears the actors are at least as excited as fans when it comes to the second season, a release date has still not been announced for season two, so fans will have to wait until further news is announced regarding One Piece.
