A new Fortnite leak has surfaced online today, and the leak reportedly brings Metal Gear Solid‘s Solid Snake and Family Guy‘s Peter Griffin to the fray.
Coming from the same source that brought forward the Invincible character leak in the middle of November, another Fortnite leak has sprung, and this time Family Guy‘s Peter Griffin and Metal Gear Solid‘s Solid Snake are both a part of the leak. The leak comes from X (formerly Twitter) user ShiinaBR, and lists Xbox as the primary source of the leak. The post can be seen below.
The next Season 5: Chapter 1 of Fortnite is dubbed ‘Underground’ and seemingly features Solid Snake in his classic espionage outfit, but Peter Griffin is not wearing his typical white button-down and green pants, he’s wearing a tuxedo. The Fortnite leak could potentially only show one of the skin variants for each character, as multiple usually arrive at once, like the latest Eminem release to the title, which saw three rapper-based skins hit the Battle Royale.
Season 5: Chapter 1 has a lot to live up to, as the latest Fortnite OG has boasted the ‘best day in Fortnite history’ happened during the OG Season, with a single day having 44.7 million people logged in to Fortnite on one day. The Fortnite leak comes right after Epic Games received notable backlash for recently lifting its age restrictions on certain Fortnite skins, which it has already confirmed won’t be permanent. The post updating fans on that scenario can be seen below as well.
While Peter Griffin and Solid Snake are supposedly gearing up for the battle royale, Epic Games has yet to make an official announcement that the two characters will finally appear in the title. While the poster has been right before and the Fortnite leak seems legitimate, fans should take the leak with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made. Season OG will end with a new in-game live event called The Big Bang, which is set to star Eminem starting December 2, 2023 at 2pm ET.
