This past weekend, Nintendo updated the official Pokémon X and Y website with a new trailer and screenshots unveiling a pokémon that looks like the next evolution of Mewtwo.
“The mysteries of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y continue to grow with the unveiling of a Pokémon that is strangely familiar! It looks a lot like the powerful Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, but not quite the same,” reads a statement on the site. “This new Pokémon shares many traits with Mewtwo, including a light-purple body and piercing, powerful eyes.”
By all accounts this new Pokémon looks like it is Mewthree. It still remains to be seen if that’s what it’ll be called however.
