Returning to the kitchen once again, Team17 and Ghost Town announce Overcooked! 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, launching today with enhanced graphics, Camera Play, and more.
Taking the chaotic cooking game to the next level, Overcooked! 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches today, bringing plenty of new enhancements to align with the power of Nintendo Switch 2. As the players and their friends return to cook delicious meals, the Nintendo Switch 2 enhancement features include improved graphics and frame rates, Game Share for playing with friends both locally and online, and more.
Released in August 2018, the Onion King has summoned the Unbread, and it’s up to the players and their three friends to return and save the Onion Kingdom once again in Overcooked! 2. Embarking on a mission to starve off the Unbread, the players travel the new world across land, sea, and skies to cook many delicious foods and earn the highest score. From cooking in a sushi restaurant to cooking on an alien planet, utilize the surroundings to your advantage, such as a teleporter, and beware of hazardous elements that could halt your progress.
Arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2, there will be numerous new enhancements for players to look forward to. The features that will be available in Overcooked! 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition are:

- 4K resolution and 60FPS gameplay while docked
- Camera Play – With the camera enabled, showcase your emotions as you play with your friends, ranging from excitement to pure chaos.

Alongside the enhancements, Overcooked! 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition owners will still have the chance to play with Nintendo Switch players and their purchased DLCs. Additionally, cross-progression will be supported across the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, allowing players to transfer their completed 3-star level progression between consoles.
Overcooked! 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 for new players, while existing owners can purchase the Switch 2 upgrade for $9.99 / £7.99 / €9.99.
