The next event landing in November for Pokémon GO has been revealed and tickets are available for purchase starting today.
The first big event since Pokémon GO Fest and Tour, Niantic has pulled back the curtain on the next Wild Area event in 2024. Pokémon GO Wild Area 2024 will take trainers on a trip through an unexplored stretch that contains an abundance of electric and poison-type Pokémon, including more powerful creatures not normally seen in the wild. Trainers can encounter the Punk Pokémon, Toxtricity, and find other unusually powerful mighty Pokémon during the event times. For the first time, the big event will start in Fukuoka, Japan in November before spreading to the global stage. Pokémon GO will also be deploying specialized Safari Balls to increase the trainer’s chances of obtaining these mighty creatures.

The Fukuoka, Japan event times will take place from November 16-17, with special early bird pricing of ¥3100 until October 14, these in-person event tickets will likely sell out pretty quickly (like other Pokémon GO events) so fans should act quickly if they plan on attending the live event on-site in Fukuoka. Shortly after, Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global will take place on November 23 and 24 for trainers around the globe.
Like the in-person Japan event, those who snag early tickets will be able to don a new avatar item, the Toxel Mask, for free by completing Timed Research — by playing between October 15 and October 22— only available by purchasing a ticket early, before October 22. A trailer celebrating the upcoming event can be seen below courtesy of Niantic.
Fans who wish to attend or are interested in viewing ticketing information can head to the official Wild Area specialized website to purchase Global Tickets now, with the in-person special Japan event tickets releasing soon. Fans interested in the global event can snag their ticket for $11.99 from the site today.
