Razer has introduced two brand new webcams into its Kiyo lineup that started all the way back in 2019: the Razer Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X.
The Razer Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X have hit the market, and each offers their own experience for the streamer or content creator. With the addition of AI and a new software built to enhance your image, Razer is looking to rejoin the ranks of the best webcams on the market.
The Razer Kiyo V2 is a departure from the Kiyo/Kiyo Pro design, with a body that is more reminiscent of the Logitech MX Brio. The webcam will be capable of 4K/30 or 1080/60 broadcasts and comes equipped with a Sony STARVIS sensor. It will offer an HDR picture, and the camera will come with a privacy shutter and a standard webcam mount with a 3/4” thread for mounting on an arm or tripod. The Kiyo V2 will connect via a detachable USB-C to USB-A cable.

The AI features on the Razer Kiyo V2 will be their largest upgrade in the line, with auto framing and one-click image enhancement set to improve your stream’s look in an instant. The Kiyo V2 will also come with a license for their new software solution, CAMO Pro, which will give you all kinds of AI Video filters and effects, such as background removal, background blur and other effects designed for the new software.
The Razer Kiyo V2 X will be the company’s lite version of the V2, with 2K/60 resolution and a hard-wired USB-A cable. This version will not offer HDR, nor will it provide you with a license for CAMO, but it will come in at a considerably lower price than its beefier webcam sibling.
Both the Razer Kiyo V2 and V2 X are available to order now on Razer’s website. The Kiyo V2 retails at $149.99 USD, while the V2 X comes in at $99.99 USD. Razer’s newest cameras aim to make an impact in the webcam marketplace, leveraging their long-standing presence in the streamer space and the reputation built on a popular line of cameras.
