SCUF Gaming has announced the launch of the SCUF Valor Pro wired controller for PC and Xbox, designed to elevate competitive gaming with enhanced speed and control.
Developed through collaboration and feedback from esports pros and creators over the years, SCUF Gaming and Corsair have introduced the SCUF Valor Pro wired controller for PC and Xbox, now available for $99.99. The controller includes several features aimed at improving player performance, such as the Hall Effect thumbstick to reduce the risk of thumbstick drift, remappable back paddles, dedicated audio controls and more.
Pioneering the concepts of the paddle, adjustable hair trigger and trigger stop mechanism during the Xbox 360 and PS3 era in 2011, SCUF Gaming has been innovating controllers to give players an edge during competitive matches. Throughout the console generations, SCUF Gaming has introduced several innovations, such as a military-grade SCUF grip to prevent hand slippage, a specialized SCUF thumbstick, a removable D-pad and EMR technology to reprogram the back paddles to the face buttons.
Continuing to innovate in the gaming space, the SCUF Valor Pro wired controller is designed to offer Xbox and PC gamers enhanced speed and control. The controller features four remappable back paddles with the option to remove the inner paddles, a 1000 Hz polling rate through a wired PC connection, an improved ergonomic and compact shape based on the Xbox controller, and a dedicated audio control to adjust headset volume and balance game versus chat audio.
The most notable feature, however, is the Hall Effect thumbstick, which uses magnets to detect movement. Joining many gaming brands in adopting Hall Effect thumbsticks marks a significant long-term improvement, as they reduce the risk of thumbstick drift while maintaining the familiar feel of a traditional analog thumbstick.
The SCUF Valor Pro Wired controller will be available today for $99.99 from selected retailers and the SCUF Gaming website. For those interested in the colour scheme, the SCUF Valor Pro will be available in steel gray, black, white and smoke colours.
