New Sims Title Headed for Mobile Platforms

Maxis, the masterminds behind the long-running Sims franchise has recently announced that the series will be making its debut on mobile devices, simply titled The Sims Mobile.

The game is inspired from the Sims 4, specifically the Legacy challenge mode of the game. The new mobile experience tasks the player with creating a single Sim from scratch, ultimately with the end goal of creating a successful multi-generational family. Sims Mobile features family heirlooms that grant Sims within the same family special boosts and means to achieve various life goals set by the game.

Additionally, the new game will feature online connectivity with your friends Sims, your Sims will be able to partake in parties, develop relationships, friends and even nemeses with their real-life counterparts. As the game is developed by Maxis themselves, prospect players can rest assured that the game will be true to the Sims brand, for those who want to get a better picture of the upcoming spinoff, can view the launch trailer for the game below.

The Sims Mobile is already available as a free download for Brazilian customers on both the iOS App Store and the Android Marketplace, with a worldwide release to follow.
