Skyrim is Free to try on Steam Till Sunday 1

Ready your shouts and prepare to battle larger than life dragons, because Bethesda’s famous fantasy RPG, Skyrim is now available to play for free on Steam until this Sunday.

Steam announced that the free trial period for Skyrim is a linked promotion. Recently the online gaming service has listed Skyrim for a 50 per cent discount on their online store. If players would like to continue their epic journeys, then they do not have to worry about spending a lot of money.

Sadly there isn’t a similar promotion on other platforms, but seeing as Skyrim is one of the most community modded games currently on Steam, this would be a great place for beginners to try one of Bethesda’s most critically acclaimed titles. While the original game may look out of date, the Skyrim community is always coming up with new ways of making the game entertaining. One of the more famous mods to come to Skyrim is when someone decided to replace the dragons, with Thomas The Tank Engine.

Even after nine years of its initial release, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is just as popular as ever. The game was released on virtually almost every platform: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows. This game only adds to Bethesda’s impressive game library, alongside: Fallout 4, DOOM, Dishonored, The Evil Within, and Wolfenstein.

The special promotion ends on April 15, 2018, and the game is currently available to purchase for $24.99 CAD.
