Square Enix has announced updates coming to Final Fantasy mobile titles, including unlockable gear, new questlines, a new character and more across each game.
The Final Fantasy mobile titles will see various updates players can look forward to. First up, as they return to the world of Mako in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, new gear will be unlockable for Aerith, Yuffie, and Barret as part of the Loveless chapter, and a new questline available focusing on Zack and Sephiroth’s investigation at the Nibel Reactor in Chapter 6 of Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. But that is not all, as War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius debuts a UR unit named Hero King Mont with a Vision Card called When Lions Soar and a chance to summon Bartz to celebrate the Final Fantasy V collaboration.

Focusing on Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, players can unlock unique gear for Aerith, Yuffie and Barret as part of the Loveless chapter, available now until Feb. 26 from the draw stamps. As part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, players can collect Aerith’s Loveless Songstress gear, Yuffie’s Wutai’s Idol gear and Barret’s Dragon King Varvados gear, bringing the playful act from the Golden Saucer to action.
Expanding on Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, the story of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core continues in Chapter 6. The new questline retells Zack and Sephiroth’s investigation of the Nibel reactors from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, leading to Sephiroth’s descent into madness as he learns the truth about himself and Jenova. From today to March 6, players can unlock Zack-specific weapon parts and his five-star weapons guaranteed draw tickets after completing the questline.
Moving on to War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the game will debut a new UR unit named Hero King Mont, who seeks to forge the future of Ardra as he slashes his enemies. With the new UR unit, players can collect a vision card called When Lions Soar to boost party attack, magic attack, area attack resistance piercing and max HP for Hero King Mont and Sterne (Wing of Destiny). Lastly, players can summon Bartz from Final Fantasy V for free from today until March 4, with the UR unit Exdeath and the vision card Exdeath’s Return also available to summon for a limited time.
With the many updates available now for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the games are available on iOS and Android.
