Steam Kicks off Lunar Sale with Wish List Updates 1

Online video game marketplace Steam has updated its Wish List functionalities, just in time for their annual Lunar New Year Sale.

Valve announced the updates in a blog post on the Steam website which can be found here. The update, which is now live, comes with a number of new filtering features that Steam says came directly from player feedback.

Genre and tag filtering is now active, which lets users find the certain genre and types of games without having to scroll through their full wish list. As for titles that haven’t yet been released, there is now the option to hide them from your list until they become available for purchase.

The new wish list also has a filter that only shows games that you can afford with your current Steam Wallet balance, which gets rid of the awful feeling that comes with not being able to buy a  game that you want.  You also now sort items based on how discounted they are, a useful feature given the frequent sales that Steam puts on.

As for the Steam Lunar Sale, there are thousands of titles now on sale including Rocket League, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Overcooked. It’s currently live and runs until  Monday February 19th at 10 a.m PST.
