SteelSeries Announces New Esports Gaming Mice

SteelSeries Rival 310 Review - Precision, Comfort, Price 4

SteelSeries has unveiled their latest gaming mice, designed specifically for esports.

Gaming accessory manufacturer SteelSeries revealed their newly designed gaming mice today. The mice use SteelSeries’ new optical sensor technology, TrueMove3.  Engineered in partnership with PixArt, TrueMove3 is said to be the first true one-to-one sensor.  It uses new, advanced jitter reduction to deliver natural mouse movement without slowing down response time. The new TrueMove3 technology will be used in the upcoming Sensei 310 and Rival 310 gaming mice.

“We are launching the first true, esports sensor. Our brand was built more than 15 years ago to help esports pros win championships.  We are proud and humbled that our gear has won more prize money than any other brand.  We have done this by ignoring conventional wisdom, and focusing on what truly makes esports pros better – out of that quest comes the new TrueMove sensor.”  said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO.

In addition to its new optical sensor, SteelSeries’ Sensei 310 features eight programmable buttons, pure silicone side grips and a new split-trigger button design. The Sensei 310 also has mechanical switches that will guarantee 50-million clicks and ensure for lifelong durability with a fast and consistent feel.

The new Rival 310 will share all of the same features of the Sensei 310. As with previous entries in SteelSeries’ Rival line, the Rival 310 is designed for the right-handed. The Rival 310 will also include six programmable buttons along with a soft resistance-free rubber cable.

SteelSeries is currently known as one of the fastest growing major PC gaming brands in the US. Thanks to SteelSeries’ engine software, users are able to save their customized settings and avoid having to reconfigure them every time they use a different computer.

The Sensei 310 and Rival 310 are currently available on SteelSeries’ website, each for $59.99. More information about the new gaming mice along with SteelSeries’ other gaming accessories can be found on their official website.
