Finally, The Good part Of A Cyberpunk Future

Modern Warfare 4 Gets A Futuristic Partnership With RayNeo

Following the recent release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, RayNeo has shown off an interesting pair of glasses.

Fitting the “modern” in Modern Warfare, the RayNeo GT Max Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Limited Edition glasses function as a big screen right in front of your eyes. While it may seem a bit otherworldly to buy a product like this, the limited-edition GT Max does it pretty effectively. It uses a 267-inch display located just behind the glass to display the wearer’s console or PC through a USB-C cable, so you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 or anything else right before your eyes.

But all of that comes standard with the non-limited edition version of the glasses. The limited-edition glasses feature a custom camo design on the frame trim, but the real standout is the on-screen display. Themed after Modern Warfare, the interface uses a black-and-gold colour scheme, making it easy to switch display modes between steady, pinned and follow, plus being able to adjust settings like brightness and audio output on the fly.

Despite their small size, the glasses pack some impressive specs into a 78-gram frame. The micro-OLED display has a 1200Hz refresh rate and can put out up to 1200 Nits of brightness, rivalling some flagship phones. Audio-wise, it has a quad-speaker system co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which provides the wherewithal for 38 percent more speaker area and +5dB audio sensitivity.

The key distinction here is that these glasses aren’t AR or smart glasses for games; they’re just glasses with screens that port a regular screen output onto them. And while they are tinted, they cannot change the tint level through electrochromic dimming. Aside from that, the box they come in contains three things: the glasses themselves, the USB-C cable to plug into any device, and a bonus branded cleaning rag.

The RayNeo GT Max Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Limited Edition glasses are set to release on November 19th, with a pre-launch going live on the RayNeo website on October 23rd. For more details on these killer shades, check out the full description here.
