The Umbrella Academy Final Season Trailer Preps For The Big End of the World

Like all seasons before it, The Umbrella Academy has fans prepping yet again for the end of the world, except this time, it’s for the final season, so it’s the end for real.

Netflix has finally pulled back the curtain on the final teaser trailer for the final season of The Umbrella Academy, and it can be watched just below courtesy of the official Netflix X (formerly Twitter) account. Fans should note that it contains spoilers for the entire series so far (especially the third season).

The ending of the third season saw a new timeline dictated by the Hargreeves family patriarch, Reginald (Colm Feore). As the series introduces the siblings with the death of the father (back in season one from 2020), the final season ironically has him play a larger role as the patriarch that details a timeline where the Hargreeve’s siblings are without their powers.

Emmy Raver-Lampman (who plays Allison Hargreeves) says, “[It’s] really, really packed with classic Umbrella Academy family nonsense and shenanigans that you look forward to,” and another cast member, David Castañeda (Diego Hargreeves) describes season four as his favourite so far. Fans who can’t wait any longer have been given one more treat before the season starts, and that’s a page from the official season four script of The Umbrella Academy. Courtesy of Netflix, it can be seen below.

The trailer notably showcases Viktor Hargreeves (Elliot Page) potentially gaining access to a new power in The Umbrella Academy season four, as flames are shown sprouting from his hands, so while it has not been confirmed on whether the Hargreeves siblings regain their former powers, they may get new ones in the final season. The final season of The Umbrella Academy launches on August 8 exclusively on Netflix.
