TIFF 2024: We Live In Time Gets a New Trailer Ahead of TIFF World Premiere

TIFF 2024 is Coming!

TIFF 2024: We Live In Time Trailer Drops Early!

We Live In Time has released a trailer after its world premiere was announced for TIFF 2024 alongside several other titles.

Since A24 production studio acquired the rights to We Live In Time back in May 2023, both starring actors (Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh), have hosted the Oscars, and now, ahead of the TIFF 2024, the new trailer has been revealed early just to give fans a tease of what’s to come. While producers have remained incredibly tight-lipped on plot details, the trailer can be seen below, courtesy of A24 Productions.

We Live in Time is about an unsuspecting couple who falls in love after Alma (Pugh) hits Tobias (Garfield) with her car. While the remaining plot points (including a sad point where Alma is seen with shorter than normal hair) have been occluded for its presentation at TIFF 2024, this is the biggest look the film has given aspiring audiences since A24 announced the production right purchase last year.

Ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival start date, the film festival has also revealed four more films they have in the cannon, ready to world premiere at TIFF 2024. Below is a lift and a small synopsis of each film recently announced to premiere at TIFF 2024, provided by event organizers, and as is the case normally with the International Film Festival each film is a vastly different genre and features a different culture than the last.

  • Eden – a thrilling true tale of murder and survival and the lengths humanity will go to in pursuit of their own happiness, starring Ana de Armas, Sydney Sweeney, and Jude Law.
  • K-POPS – a dramatic comedy that takes inspiration from eight-time Grammy Award winner Anderson .Paak’s own life.
  • Shepherds – which follows a young advertising executive who trades in his Montreal life to become a shepherd in France.
  • Superboys of Malegaon – a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon, India.

TIFF 2024 takes place from September 5 until September 15, and aspiring festival goers can find ticketing information from the official website.
