SEGA Europe Ltd. and The Creative Assembly Ltd. have announced Total War: Warhammer III‘s latest DLC, Omens of Destruction, launching on Dec. 12, 2024.
Launching on Dec. 12, Total War: Warhammer III‘s latest DLC, Omens of Destruction, will mark the 100th Legendary Lord across the Warhammer series and add new content for the armies of Khorne, Ogre Kingdoms, and Orcs & Goblins. Alongside the new content, there will be Legendary Lords, battle units, campaign features, and free content for all players.
For many of the armies, there will be new content for players to look forward to in Total War: WARHAMMER III: Omens of Destruction. To help make it easy to digest, here is the breakdown of each army and the new content they will be receiving:
SKULLTAKER, The Hero Slayer
Khorne’s immortal champion and the greatest of all Bloodletters, Skulltaker, is seeking a worthy skull for his master. As he scans the battlefield for the greatest champion from the enemies, he shouts his challenge before he can move in to end another story’s life. The contents included for Khrone are:
- Cloaks of Skulls – Campaign Feature about Skulltaker seeking the most powerful enemy lords to defeat to claim its worthy skull. With each skull added to his cloaks, he will receive new abilities and traits that can be earned and upgraded.
- Battle Playstyles – Skulltaker excels at hunting down and duelling enemy lords with his trusty two-handed slayer sword. His cloak of Skull’s passive ability can grant increasing spell resistance and ward save the more he kills.
- New Unit: A unit from the Blood God’s domain enters the fray, including two legendary Heroes, Skarr Bloodwrath and Skyla Anfingrimm alongside a host of acolytes including the Bloodspeaker, Slaughterbrute, Bloodbeasts, Wrathmongers, Skullreapers, and Khorngors.
GOBRAD IRONCLAW, The Brutal Unifier
One of the most infamous of all Orc Warbosses, Gorbad Ironclaw knows only one language: war. Unique among his race due to his rare mix of brains and brawn, he has become an inspiration to his kind for “Invasion Done Propa.” The contents included for Orcs & Goblins are:
- Da’Plan: Campaign Feature about Gorbad Ironclaw experimenting with unique battle strategies for his armies to employ as it grants a deadly of exotic battle bonuses and army composition that can overcome harsh challenges.
- Battle Playstyle: Ride into battle atop the Warboar, Gnarla, as Gonbrad penetrate the enemy’s lines with a devastating charge before he can engage in close combat with his axe, Morglor the Mangler. His “Da Great Leader” ability activates when troops are in his vicinity, increasing the melee attack and defence.
- New Units: the units that will be joining our legendary heroes, Snagla Grohspit accompanied by warriors such as the Savage Orc Great Shaman, Night Goblin Big Boss, Black Orc (Axe & Shield), Mangler Squiqs, Colossal Squiq, Arahnarok (Finger) and Bolt Throwa.
GOLGFAG MANEATER, The Mercenary
As one of the most successful Ogre mercenaries of all time, Golgfag Maneater forged a reputation for Ogres as fearsome killers for hire, long before they became a common sight in mercenary armies around the world. The contents that will be included for Ogre Kingdoms are:
- Mercenary Contract: A Campaign Feature about Golgfag helping clients throughout the Warhammer World settle their warring disputes by taking on all wars they’re involved in and conducting hostile action against their enemies for a large reward.
- Battle Playstyle: Golfag can tear through hordes of infantry with the aid of barbaric weaponry. His globe-trotting nature can also grant him access to a variety of exotic abilities such as Dead Eye, allowing him to take a powerful shot to cause the most damage.
- New Units: The units joining Golgfag mercenary brigade would include the legendary hero, Hero Bragg the Gutsman, alongside Ogre Paymaster, Bruiser, Golgfag’s Maneaters, Piggyback Riders, Blood Vulture, Yhetees, and Thundertusk.
That is not all, as there will be free content arriving as part of Patch 6.0 for Total War: Warhammer‘s 100th Legendary Lord. The content will include Arbaal the Undefeated, the champion of Khorne, who has seen many fall beneath the crimson arc of his axe. Alongside the character, a faction update will arrive for the Ogre Kingdoms, Khorne, and Orcs & Goblins.
