Toyota Gazoon Racing GT Cup 2022 Details Announced

Today TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) announced the details of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2022 e-Motorsports series to be held in the racing game, Gran Turismo 7.

The races will consist of a total of 7 rounds centred on online races, followed by a final, involving the best 24 competitors. The tournament features the GR lineup of cars including the special race models. Previously, in 2019, TGR hosted the GR Supra GT Cup One-Make Series in Gran Turismo Sport. Then, in 2021, with the creation of the TGR GT Cup, a new format was introduced that expanded the roster available to all GR vehicles.

The 2022 series of the GTR GT Cup will continue this expansion and will introduce class cars like the Toyota Supra GT500 ’97 which is already included in the game, as well as other models planned to be added in future updates. This year, Subaru will also participate as the development partner of the GR86 to be held in Round 5 of qualifying held at the Autopolis circuit. It will also be possible to compete not only with the GR86 but also with the Subaru BRZ.

Gran Turismo 7 (Ps5) Review 19

The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup will take place from May to November this year. The final will be held in conjunction with the Gran Turismo World Series in November. As for what players need to have to take part in this, either a PS5 or PS4 and a copy of Gran Turismo 7. Players also need to be 6 years of age or older.

There are seven qualifying rounds, the first of which is happening on May 15 on the Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium with the SF19 Super Formula car. The last round will take place on August 28 with the GR Yaris car, but the track is still to be decided. The final is scheduled to happen in November but the car and track are still to be decided.

As for the times of the races, they are 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, and 10 p.m. with three races per round. There are five regions with 21 competitors competing to have the highest number of points earned from the top 4 rounds out of the 7 total for a total of 24 drivers. North America has 3 drivers, while Europe/Middle East/Africa has the most with 9.
