Paramount Pictures has come out with a new trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate, and it shows how things are faring after Judgement Day.
In Dark Fate, set 27 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a new liquid-metal Terminator (Gabriel Luna) is sent from the future by Skynet in order to terminate Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) and a hybrid cyborg human named Grace (Mackenzie Davis). Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) comes to their aid alongside the original Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to fight for a brighter future.
Terminator: Dark Fate has a few things going for it, the biggest being that franchise creator James Cameron is back for the first time since T2. Cameron produced Dark Fate and also helped come up with the story. Tim Miller will be directing the film, and having also directed the first Deadpool, we can probably expect some good, lower-budget action.
Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters on November 1st. We’ll let you know if there’s any big developments on the film before then.
