Vampire Survivors is getting a massive DLC based on the world of Castlevania, set to release on October 31 on PC, mobile and consoles.
As part of their second-anniversary celebrations, Vampire Survivors developer Poncle has revealed some big update details. They announced that the game will be receiving its biggest DLC pack yet with Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania, set to release on October 31 on PC, mobile, and consoles. They highlighted that the DLC will include a huge map, 20 new characters that fans of Konami’s Castlevania will recognize (such as the Belmonts and Belnades), and 40 new weapons.
Poncle has stated that the Vampire Survivors DLC pack will contain “an absolutely stupidly gigantic amount of content.” Rightfully so, it will add more heroes, including those already mentioned. The 40 new weapons will feature eight whips, along with various spells, magic weapons, projectiles, and glyphs. The Belmonts and Belnades, known throughout the series for their arsenal of whips, are prominently featured in both the games and the animated Netflix series. Additionally, the DLC pack will include more than 30 new music tracks, featuring both remixes and original tracks from the Castlevania series.
Players will likely be taking on many of the game’s classic creatures as the whip-wielding Belmonts: Simon, Richter, Trevor, and Sonia. The Belnades family, including Sypha, Yoko, and a legion of legendary witches, will also feature alongside characters like Charlotte Aulin, Maria Renard, and more. Shots in the trailer also suggest that players will get to use iconic weapons like Alucard’s sword, spear, and shield.

The DLC description is lengthy, but it emphasizes how this pack will pay major homage to the Castlevania series by offering their take on Dracula’s castle. The new stage has been described as “the largest map Vampire Survivors has ever seen.” The description also highlights the inclusion of familiar enemies from the Castlevania games, such as murky Mudmen and the frightening Fleamen. Players won’t have to wait long, as Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is set to release on October 31 on PC (Steam), Switch, Xbox, PS5, PS4, and mobile, priced at $3.99 / €3.99 / £2.99. The last crossover was also with Konami, but for Contra.
